Manufactures of plastic
water flasks in different shapes and sizes (Brands - Ashafa, Polar Universla, Al waha) The factory was established in 1398H (1978) at the Industrial City phase 2 in Jeddah. The factory produces brand name plastic flasks known as Polar Universal and the Ashafa brand in order to keep water cold for a longer period of time, and they are available in different sizes from 1/2 gallon up to 10 gallons. The Saudi Cooling & Water Flasks Factory had a starting production capacity of 100,000 pieces per year, but since then, they have expanded their production twice, once in the year 1402H (1982) and once in 1415H (1995). Their current production is 500,000 pieces of plastic flasks and 100,000 pieces of iceboxes, which keep beverages and food cold. There has been an increased demand in the local market, GCC countries, and for use in the two Holy Mosques in the Kingdom. |
